Mrs. Stewart   Greetings!
In my 17 years of teaching, I've learned that effective discipline is the foundation of any constructive learning environment. Once strong classroom management has been established, I can proceed in creating a learning community where each child is encouraged, challenged and inspired. My husband and I have been married for 13 years. We and our two children live in Lake Ridge, Va. My husband loves to spend his days helping the commmunity is a real estate agent. My two children enjoy learning at our neighborhood school, Westridge Elementary. In my free time, I love reading, journaling, singing and serving the community through my church, Grace Church, in Dumfries, Va. I also love watching the WASHINGTON REDSKINS play football! If you are a Dallas Cowboy fan, you may not come in my classroom! (That's just a joke!) This is my 7th year teaching 4th grade at Kerrydale. I taught 4th, 2nd, and 3rd grades during my 10 years of teaching in Stafford, Co. before coming to Kerrydale.
